The Earworm: “Leave Me Alone”-FIDLAR

“Leave Me Alone”-FIDLAR

Fuck IDog, Life’s A Risk

FIDLAR doesn’t fuck around. They produce the kind of short, poppy, party punk anthems that will inevitably be the soundtrack to some of your most memorable blackouts.

Formed in Los Angeles, Calif. in 2009, the 4-piece garage/skate punk band have written a deep catalog of really dope shit. Though not always pretty or polished, they clearly understand the physics of stuffing as much fun as possible into a 3-minute song.

While their studio stuff is awesome, they absolutely rage while performing. They have an off-the-rails, no-rules-apply vibe that saturates their live gigs.

Signed with Mom + Pop Music, and affiliated with the impossibly cool Burger Records, the word is out on FIDLAR. In December of 2012, they were named a “Band to Watch” by Rolling Stone. They are set to play the Bonnaroo this June.

And now it’s time for this week’s Earworm. Enjoy! You can thank us later…
